Dancing through Poppies

Now recently you have probably seen and heard a lot about the poppy fields here in Utah. There happen to be 2 different spots that have accessible fields that you can visit in June. The first one is located in Alpine Utah and blooms the end of May and the very beginning of June. The second spot that blooms is a camping ground near a small little city in Mantua Utah. Mantua is located 5 minutes up the canyon from Brigham City Utah.

For a quick adventure, I highly recommend it. I actually tried and succeeded in a visit in between rainstorms which I thought would be a quiet time... Well I was wrong, really unless it is pouring rain, there isn't a quiet time in these fields, everyone loves to enjoy the flowers and get their snapshots. The field is amazing to see but can be quiet busy at all times during the weekend. It looks larger in photos than it is, but it is still highly worth the visit. I was so impressed by how tall and vibrant the flowers were.

There are natural paths already made in the flowers so that you don't trample down other parts. It is worth the visit and if you are lucky like I was, you can find those moments where you get parts of the fields all to yourself.

My friend who I went with, but who asked not to be shown in the post said it was well worth the visit. After we went to the fields, we drove around a little bit and saw the small quaint city of Mantua, enjoyed the reservoir for a moment, and also schemed where the next adventure would take us. Seriously Utah is such an amazing spot.

"I have prayed in her fields of poppies, I have laughed with the men who died But in all my ways and through all my days Like a friend He walked beside. I have seen a sight under Heaven That only God understands, In the battles' glare I have seen Christ there With the Sword of God in His hand."
