Design is my honest to goodness passion.

Has anyone else out there had a moment in their lives when they knew everything needed to change? Well, I have had several of those, but one of the biggest times for me was 8 years ago.

I had graduated from college with a degree in Fine Arts and ended up working Customer Service Jobs afterwards. One of the few things I wish they did for Art Majors was realistically sit them down and show them their career options, oh well, you live and you learn. ( I occasionally go off in tangents)

Well, I had been working at CSR jobs for over 13 years at that point, my health was bad, and I just felt like I was at a cross-roads in life. 

​

I in a matter of days decided to leave the life I had, apply to go back to school and planned a move to San Diego. All I knew at that time was I needed a new change of scenery ( I had a brother who lived there), I need a job that had creativity involved and that life was not going to change unless I changed it. Design was more than a hobby, more than something I was doing because I am single and needed income.

In going back to school I discovered that Graphic Design was my passion and came to the realization that my utter obsession of Genealogy could be married to design. I have worked several design jobs since that point, done freelance, started a business and am hustling to create beautiful designs and make the world more organized and beautiful. Hope you all don’t mind if I occasionally post a design or offer a free printable, ..... I didn’t think you’d mind... Below is one of my favorites lately, and it is in honor of my future theme dinner next year, “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.”
