Lagoon Trail - October 17, 2019

Fall comes and goes so quickly. I am a lover of all of the seasons of the year, but like many others, especially love the fall. For me it is both the colors of the trees, but also the shedding of it's leaves. It perfectly summarizes, why I walk... not just for health and because I see beauty, but in that I have found that I can leave, shed my troubles or feelings along the way. Drop whatever baggage I am still holding on to and have it fly away. I love the symbolism, having all the leaves, all of our troubles fall away for a moment and just embracing the stillness.

Last week, I walked a new favorite trail. Now, I do have many favorites I guess trail wise, but one where I was so impressed by the beauty around me, the leaves seemed to overtake me. At one moment the wind caught up and I found myself in a storm of leaves, I just let them fall over me as I looked up in amazement. Wanted to share some moments from the path...

Here is a small gallery of pictures, the lighting and storminess made it even better in some ways. I actually days later came back to this trail for a family photo session I took. It is already becoming a top favorite.
